My book "The Fear of being rejected"told the true story of two teenage girls who when both aged just seventeen fell in love, The problem being it was with each other.
Tainted love as far as Family and friends would see it if the truth about them were known.
So for eighteen years they lived a lie to hide their secret, as scared of being rejected by them.
Yes this was mine and my partner Sam's story.
That book told of our childhood, our discovering we were Gay,and then having to learn to live with it like it was a secret illness. (well my Mum did say she would take me to the Doctors) It also told of our struggles in them early days, with firstly comming to terms with being Gay, and secondly having to hide it.
It also told of our eventual comming out and how it changed our life.
This book not only continues our story, but covers what was omitted from the first book and left unsaid and also the reason why. It tells of the little white lie's that spiralled out of control into dirty big black lies just to keep our secret safe.
